According to research, a low carbs diet can be very effective for weight loss. Cutting carbs tends to reduce your appetite and cause automatic weight loss.

The amount of carbs an individual should eat every day for weight loss varies depends on their sex, age, body type and activity levels.

The Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommended that carbs provide about 45-65% of your daily calorie intake for all age groups and sexes.

According to the FDA (Food and Drug Administration), the Daily Value for carbs is 300 grams per day when you’re eating a 2,000-calorie diet.

Consuming 100-150 grams Per Day

Eating 100-150 grams per day is a moderate carb intake. This may work for people who are lean, active and want to maintain their weight or trying to stay healthy.

Consuming 50-100 grams Per Day

Eating 50-100 grams per day may be beneficial if you want to lose weight while keeping some carbs in your diet. This may also help to maintain your weight if you’re sensitive to carbs.

Consuming 20-50 grams Per Day

Eating 20-50 grams per day is a low carb diet and has a bigger effect on metabolism. This is an effective way for people who want to lose weight fast, or have obesity, diabetes or have metabolic problems.

Each person is unique & what works for one person may not work for the next person. It’s very important to do some self-experimentation & figure out what works best for you.

Crabs are important to health as is staying at the correct weight. Carbohydrates are commonly referred to as either good carbs or bad carbs.
