01. You don’t meet the agency requirement

The agencies require some requirements to be model in some category like high fashion modeling, runway modeling, catwalk modeling etc. this is the major reason models get rejected by agencies.

Male model requirements: basically the male model height should be between 5’10” to 6’3” and he has some facial feature like high cheek bones, skinny and good looking.

Female model requirements: female model height should be between 5’8” to 5’11” and she has to be slim and beautiful.

If you don’t have these requirements, then you have to look after other category of modeling.

02. Agency has your look

This is also main reason that why models get rejected because the agencies has a numbers of models like you or agencies has several models that your look.

Your look means agency models have your same height, same body type, same hair color, eyes, same hair style etc.

You always check the agency website before going, check the models portfolio that agency has represented because you know that the agency can get you represent or not.

03. You’re too commercial

This is also major reason that agency going to reject you, if you have too commercial look then there are chances are getting reject. Most of the top agencies prefer high fashion looks or more edgy looks.  

Before going to visit agency, do your own research or your homework so that you can know or else you can try for other agencies that represent you’re type models.

04. You’re bad timing

If you have the entire requirement what agencies are prefer but if you have bad timing then chance to get reject by agencies.

It’s means that maybe the agency is in a down time or the agency not getting enough work for their current models. Definitely the agency will not take new models.

05. Moody Agent

This reason also very common, if you visited modeling agency and the agent is just in bad mood you may get rejected.

If you’re going to meet agency, you have to look of the agent characters and act yourself that the agent would like you. During the open calls or casting the agent are under high stress so you have to see the situation and act.

06. You’re bad attitude

This is also major thing that you may get reject just because of your bad attitude, when casting is going on and some of the models feeling like they are top of the world.

These models have nasty attitude, you have to keep in mind that no one wants to work with who have a bad attitude. If you came there with bad attitude you’re likely going to get rejected.  

07. You’re not their type

This is also common reason that why models get rejected, simply you’re not their type’s means the agencies wants to take a models who have a skinny and tall and you’re not then you definitely going to get reject.

You are very muscular but the agency needs a model that has skinny body and tall, the agency will not represent you.
